About the role
Working closely with the Visitor Marketing Team and the Trust-Wide Events Co-ordinator, you’ll be the brains behind the infrastructure needed to support our events programme. From managing the central box office and producing the annual ticket reprint, to keeping the event manual and toolkits updated, you’ll not only be organised and meticulous, but also proactive in suggesting systems improvement. Giving advice and communicating information to a wide audience will be a big part of this crucial role, so an empathetic nature and approachability are a must. You’ll also look after a broad range of e-resources, within a budget, such as our website database, box office interface and regular e-newsletter.

About you
IT literate, you’ll be a real forward-thinker, always coming up with suggestions for improvement and offering the solutions to deliver them. With strong event management and evaluation experience, you’ll have delivered change projects in the past and will have design and print commissioning knowledge. With a sharp eye for detail and excellent project management abilities, you’ll have a real way with people, confidently disseminating important information, whenever needed. Above all, though, you’ll love helping us conserve special places for all to enjoy across our programme of events, for generations to come.

About us
At National Trust things are changing. We’re striving to embrace every possible opportunity to enhance our visitor experience. To make National Trust, for new and loyal visitors alike, fun and engaging. Which is why it’s never been more important for us to build a robust system behind our extensive and eclectic events programme. From farmers markets, green gardening events and outdoor theatre to quality of life debates, food festivals and lectures, there’s an event for everyone. Making sure they all run smoothly from start to finish is our mission and we’re currently looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our friendly, talented team.
